- In case you want to know, my name is Lee Wickstrom. I have been a Harley Davidson mechanic/ machinist for over 30 years and own my own porting/engine rebuilding business. In 1999, God, by his grace, chose to save an undeserving wretch like me. My desire is to share some of the knowledge of Harleys that I have gained over the years, but more importantly to give glory to God.

Nebraska voted (2024) by a fairly wide margin to limit abortions and by a narrower margin NOT to install the right to abortion as a right as an amendment to their Constitution. In Iowa our really great Governor signed a heartbeat law into effect in July 2023. I had just graduated when RvW was decided. It was hailed on libertarian grounds as a measure to address the unacceptable teen pregnancy rate of 4%. The larger problem is the moral depravity that requires consideration of abortion. The average Iowan of the 1960's was unconcerned by the illegality of abortion because the average Iowan was moral. Like lemmings swimming out to sea, it's time to turn back; but it's a long way to go.
