Second Sunday in Advent

 Here I am playing catch-up again. Somehow I manage to prepare these comments in time for our Sunday morning worship service at ValleyView Baptist, and yet often forget to post them here.  So ... here is one for last week, the first Sunday in Advent, along with the one for the second Sunday in Advent. Of course both of them concern prophesy of the coming of Emanuel; God with us. In this case, both come from the prophet Ezekiel, only one of many references to the Messiah in the Old Testament.
